Since 1746, the building that houses this tavern has played a part in the establishment of our nation; first as a respite for stagecoach travelers expanding westward and later as a covert rendezvous point for George Washington, Marquis de Lafayette, and other leaders of the American revolution. It is believed that during the infamous winter of 1777–1778 at Valley Forge, a major figure in the Continental Army, master military mind Friedrich Von Steuben, designated the tavern as a secret black powder munitions stash for Continental Army couriers. All the while, the tavern continued to provide food, shelter and cheer to the hungry, weary soldiers fighting for their independence. Today, we honor our historic tavern’s tradition with a mission to raise the spirits of our guests.     Have been going to this restaurant for over a decade. Always a wonderful experience. Our last visit was exceptional. Food was simply amazing. Delicious and fresh. Service was outstanding. No surprise to anyone who’s been how wonderful this establishment is. So glad to see time has only improved this restaurant vs others that time begins to take a toll.

    Had a great time! Nice surroundings. Food was good. I had veggie burger which was really good. French fries had perfect amount of salt and they were hot. My friends had the pork sandwich which was stacked high and the chicken sandwich which was good as well. Service was great too.

    ANOTHER GREAT MEAL AT FIREBIRDS IN COLLEGEVILLE!! WE LOVE THIS RESTAURANT AND ITS STAFF! WE GIVE IT FIVE STARS CONSISTENTLY! EVERY MEAL COOKED TO PERFECTION! WE ESPECIALLY LOVE THE WOOD GRILLED SALMON WITH ITS SMOKY FLAVOR AND ITS PAIRING OF FRESH VEGETABLES! ITS TRULY A CULINARY DELIGHT!     We always have an excellent meal at UNO’s! My husband loves the deep dish pepperoni and the burger is my go-to. For a pizza joint, you make an excellent cheeseburger! Staff is always welcoming, kind and so efficient. Every single time is an enjoyable experience. Thanks so much!
