Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Collingswood

First, you can't beat the ambience of this 4-masted sailing ship turned restaurant built in 1904 docked on the Delaware waterfront in Philadelpha. Add to that superb cuisine and service and it made for a memorable Valentine's Day dinner (a day late), Baked brie appetizer was excellent and large enough to share. My wife's scallops and my Alaska halibut were similarly outstanding. We both enjoyed the 2019 Mosel region Riesling that went well with dinner. To top it off, our server was one of the best ever. The Moshulu is not cheap but not outrageous, especially for the quality. If you drive there, parking is $20.

Never had dinner here, so I decided to try it with brunch. Didn't disappoint. Parsnip soup is flavorful and rich and warms me up just right. I ordered the mushroom benedict with a side of sausage links. My partner picked the happy valley beef cheeks with pasta. I love the flavors and portions of our order. Service is attentive. I look forward to the culinary adventure here with my next dinner!

As always the staff at Fiorella goes above and beyond. We arrived for a Valentine’s Day reservation at 5:30 inside but an earlier seating wasn’t budging and we ended up not being sat until around 6. The staff immediately apologized for the wait and set us at ease by saying, “please take your time and don’t feel rushed — we have rearranged seatings.” We then were given a welcome glass of wine and a complimentary pasta for our patience. Again the staff just went above and beyond. Every dish was perfectly prepared and delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience once again.

Perfect Valentine’s dinner. Service was incredible, always there when needed yet had plenty of privacy. We had a table outside which was beautiful and felt magical. The heaters made it feel cozy and they also provided blankets for our laps. Started with the cheese board which was delicious. A wide variety of cheeses all that were balanced in flavor and texture. I then had the salmon that was perfectly cooked, crispy skin with tender meat underneath. My husband had the pork belly which he thoroughly enjoyed. The cocktail (I had the Sicilian with vodka) was expertly prepare and my glass of Chardonnay at dinner was also very good. We have been to Talula’s Garden many times and have also had wonderful meals and service. One of my favorite restaurants in the city.

Caffe Aldo Lamberti is a great date night spot for a romantic dinner. The setting is intimate and the atmosphere has a modern, chic, classy vibe. The cocktails are delicious and well mixed with great presentation. The food was delicious and satisfying. Their papardelle Bolognese was savory, tendor, and flavorful. The steak was a great cut cooked perfectly and very savory. The staff was very attentive and welcoming with a very professional demeanor and very knowledgeable witj their restaurants selectipns. Overall would highly recommend for a date or busninrss meal.
