Our casual restaurant and bar focuses on authentic dishes from our favourite regions of Spain, Italy and Portugal. We hunt out only the finest quality ingredients and serve them in the same way the locals would in the regions they originate. We believe in letting the quality of the ingredients shine through by trying to keep things as uncomplicated as possible. We are a dog friendly restaurant in our garden and downstairs bar area. Using only freshly sourced Lancashire ingredients, including fresh seasonal vegetables, juicy steaks, fresh fish along with deliciously prepared vegetarian options, we have a menu to suit all tastes. Being right on the North Lancashire and South Cumbria border, the Longlands Inn is surrounded by farmers offering some great local specialties. Fell-bred and salt-marsh lamb, fabulous cheeses, freshly-caught fish, are then all expertly prepared and cooked by our brilliant resident chef Mark Swanton.The hotel has recently gone through a complete refurbishment of the downstairs areas and we have created cosy drinking areas, a mixtures of high and low seating and a private dining area. The open pass from the kitchen allows guests to see our kitchen in operation and all this leads to creating a lively buzz and great atmosphere.

    Another great family celebration at Albert's. Lovely having this local gem on the doorstep. Food is consistently good and the service is always friendly. This time around Lottie was a star and even brought the birthday boy an extra mini pudding with a candle, lovely touch. The 2/3 course lunch deal can't be beaten for value.

    Came to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday and the restaurant organised balloons and a card. Starters of mussels, prawns and garlic bread were delicious. When the mains arrived my daughter’s meal was cool, the staff immediately took this away and prepared the dish fresh and gave her a complimentary drink. These things happen and it was dealt with quickly and did not spoil the evening. Other mains of cod saltimbocca, slow cooked beef and steak Alfredo were delicious. Spritzes also recommend

    We celebrated New Year's Day and our daughters 40th birthday in style. Venue was very swish, service was great and all nine of our meals very good. The menu is good and amazingly moderately priced, especially for a Bank Holiday. Highly recommended
