Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Downers Grove

The service was outstanding!! From the perfectly timed flow of the meal, the care and suggestions from the server team, and the kindness from the server helping to box up any leftovers- all top notch and 5 stars. An ordinary Tuesday night was transformed into a celebration.

We got to Redstone and the waiter greeted us right away. We placed drink and appetizer orders and they came out pretty quickly. Once food orders were placed and delivered, we barely saw any wait staff besides a lady who I am guessing was a manager who was very short with us. The food was pretty good, but we were not offered any refills and waited 30 mins to receive our check. On top of that, I woke up to find out that my reservation was “canceled” even though I was at their restaurant for a full 3 hours. Needless to say, I won’t be back any time soon.

My husband and I enjoyed brunch, last minute, at Labriola today. We haven't been since they switched locations. Restaurant was nicely lit and lively. We sat in a small booth along the wall. Our server was busy but attentive. We had zucchini frittes and then a burger and a Waldorf salad. The mimosa was small but good; and my husband enjoyed his Hugo Spritz. We will return !

Our favorite is the burgers. Best around. Really enjoy drink selections. Old Fashion one we like.

Food was so fresh I had the lobster roll and steak & couldn’t have been more pleasure with the temperature. It kind of was a little high in price for the steak but it was worth it.
