Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Exton

Hubby and I went to Anthony's for our Valentine's dinner, and we were not disappointed. We ate in the upstairs dining area, and we loved the rustic atmosphere, with its old stone walls and the wall of wine bottles. The calamari was probably the best we've ever had, if not the best. My husband's salmon was perfect, and I had the filet mignon. I was a little worried that ordering filet mignon from an Italian restaurant instead of a steak house might not be wise. I had nothing to worry about. It was excellent! Perfectly cooked to medium rare, as I requested, and topped with a delicious mushrooms sauce. Our only complaint was that we were too full to finish it there. But not to worry, we boxed up the leftovers, and are looking forward to enjoying them again at home! Love this place.

We spent our Valentines Day dinner at Brickside. Kate, our server took very good care to ensure our meal was served perfectly, despite the full house. The food was a bit disappointing. We ordered the shrimp stuffed with crab. It was OK but not the usual great meal we typically have from Brickside . I would guess the kitchen was overwhelmed with the full house. The garlic mashed potatoes were oddly flavored with lemon, which discouraged us from finishing them The green beans and broccoli were outstanding. My wife and I still thoroughly enjoyed our Valentines date at The Brickside..

Perfect Valentine’s dinner. Service was incredible, always there when needed yet had plenty of privacy. We had a table outside which was beautiful and felt magical. The heaters made it feel cozy and they also provided blankets for our laps. Started with the cheese board which was delicious. A wide variety of cheeses all that were balanced in flavor and texture. I then had the salmon that was perfectly cooked, crispy skin with tender meat underneath. My husband had the pork belly which he thoroughly enjoyed. The cocktail (I had the Sicilian with vodka) was expertly prepare and my glass of Chardonnay at dinner was also very good. We have been to Talula’s Garden many times and have also had wonderful meals and service. One of my favorite restaurants in the city.

We enjoyed Parc on a cold, snowy evening in February. The restaurant was cozy and warm, and the feeling was too! Our server, Jose, was great - friendly and with just the right amount of check-ins. The beet salad was yummy, with lots of beets cooked to perfection and a great mix of flavors. We both enjoyed Trout Amandine - a large portion with a hearty helping of haricots verts. The cranberry walnut bread was also delicious! We will go back tomorrow to buy a loaf to take home! If only the glass of wine wasn’t so pricey. But who can have a meal like this without a glass of wine?

Beautiful lunch for a 50th bday lunch. Server was wonderful, although the host could have been more welcoming. Not friendly at all. Food was great. Bread was a pleasant surprise. $5 for a cup of tea seems steep. I mean, isn’t it basically hot water?
