Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Hudson Heights

We plan our trip to NYC around eating at Carmine’s. This time we ate at the upper West Side location. We usually eat at the Times Square location. But this year it was booked solid for Christmas a month in advance. We were wowed again with an awesome meal at Carmines at 91st Street. We had the garlic bread with cheese. We always ask to add the cheese. So wonderful. We also split the lasagna. It is the best we have ever tasted. We brought over half of it home. I would recommend either Carmine’s to anyone wanting authentic Italian food at its best.

Excellent food - everything from mezzes to main meals and desserts was fabulous, fresh, full of taste and left us wanting more. Excellent service - our waiter was very knowledgeable about the entire menu and helpful and our water glasses were always full. We were seated in the upper back room, near the wine wall - so it wasn't too noisy but it was very warm, much warmer than the main dining room which was comfortable. We look forward to returning!

Holiday visit to NYBG and Train Show followed by a lovely luncheon. The staff manager quickly addressed a seating concern and our luncheon experience was a delight! We appreciate the care taken and look forward to our next visit!

Haven is hands down one of the best views of New York City while you’re having an incredible meal. We typically for dinner but I’m sure other meals that they offer is just as good. It’s definitely one our favorite places to treat ourselves for a nice occasion.

The location is perfect for a date night. The lighting, the view of the cities, and the service was amazing!
