Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Lahaina

Come here yearly during our vacay. One of the best places to enjoy a day trip from Kihei.

While food and service was good, initially had live music playing that was too loud to have a conversation. Half hour later, the music volume was lowered to an acceptable level where we could have a conversation and have music as background. Will go back another time because the Mai Tai and Hula Pie are awesome!

Service was excellent, and the food was excellent. You can choose a number of plates to share depending on how hungry you are and what your budget is. The vibe is trendy and upscale. The pork steamed buns and the "bacon and eggs" was amazing. I personally didn't care for the Lahaina Fried Soup - the Fatt Chow Fun noodles were so thick they were more like dumplings, which I'm not a fan of. But we still really enjoyed our evening here. Reservations are a must.

Oh my!!!! Take the time to dine at Honu. We made early dinner reservations, but anytime will be lovely. We started with a Bees Knees cocktail along with the octopus starter. Both were delicious. Our dinner was a special: monchong over basil risotto; divine!!!! We finished up with dessert that was macarons along with a glass of wine. Jordan, our server, was friendly, knowledgeable and lovely. Service by the whole staff, including the manager, was awesome. The view was icing on the cake with full ocean and swimming Honu’s. What else could you possibly want? Highly recommend!

Our fresh fish choices were excellent. I had the parm. Crusted mahimahi with Avery light lemon butter caper sauce with mashed potatoes and heirloom colored carrots! Hubby had the herb roasted Ali.. spelling, very light swordfish with a sensational sauce, green beans and fingerling potatoes. He said his was outstanding! The Hula pie was great too! Wonderful dinner!
