- OOnicaBaltimore / Maryland •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoAbsolutely the best dining experience I have had in a long while. Old school customer service=catering to the customer and they definitely did. I highly recommend everyone have, at least one fine dining experience in their life, and if possible, it should be at Smith & Wollensky. When you go, ask for Tony to be your wait staff. Exceptional service from Tony! He thought of everything we needed before we could even ask and his energy was great and very welcoming. I would actually put his service up there with the food. 10/10 across the board. Thank you for making my niece’s 25th birthday one to remember and thank you Tony for being an absolute gem! We can’t wait to visit again! Oh, and if you go, porterhouse is a MUST. Velvety and juicy, melt in your mouth, no need for any sauces or seasonings!More infoSmith & Wollensky - New YorkPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown East•4.6

STRONGLY recommend this for locals and those visiting NYC…the latter will really get a great sense of the NYC vibe, whether you are looking for a family-friendly environment or for a day/night out with pals in search of great food and fun cocktails from the Smith’s top shelf mixologists. They really cover all bases with some of the best and warmest service in town (hold the unwarrantedly rude NYC attitude, please!). Just go and see for yourself - you will not be disappointed…CJMore infoThe Smith - MidtownPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown East•4.7
- JJudyNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoThis cozy spot on the lower east side is very trendy with its gem named cocktails and seasonal menus. It is clearly incredibly popular as tables turn over quickly and there is never an empty seat. The food comes quickly and is deeply flavorful. The menu consists of dishes that can be harder to find, even in a cultural hub like NYC. I do wonder if lunch service is a little less bustling as at times I found it difficult to hear my dinner partner. I also wish they would tell you about the QR code for the food menu as it is on a physical drinks menu and that’s a bit confusing. Overall I’m glad I made it to Soothr and look forward to trying their sister restaurant Sappe soon.More infoSoothrPrice: Expensive• Thai• East Village•4.7

We wanted something charming and festive for the holidays, with good food and a lovely ambience. We were extremely pleased and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, the drinks tasty, the service above and beyond, (attentive and thoughtful, yet not intrusive), and the atmosphere glittering and perfect for the season. While it was packed, it still didn’t feel cramped, (we had plenty of room around us), and we could easily talk while all around us engaged in their happy times, too. We had the Tuna tartare appetizer, (REALLY good!) and the Havenly chicken, which was extremely delicious. I’d recommend both! All in all, a wonderful night and we will absolutely come back! - PPatriciaNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoThere were 10 of us & we had made reservations at 5 pm as we had 7 pm theater tickets. Our table was ready for us upon arrival & our waiter was friendly & on point from start to finish. Service was great without feeling rushed & his wine suggestion was perfect. The portions are huge so we started with the calamari & Caesar salad which was plenty for all of us & both very good. We chose 4 dishes, Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Scaloppine, Rigatoni & Broccoli, & Penne alla Vodka & all were delicious. We all commnted that the Penne was the best we’d had as the sauce was not too heavy & perfectly spiced. Although we could have only ordered 3 dishes, we all enjoyed the variety of the 4 choices. We finished off with cappuccinos for the table & made it to the theater with 15 minutes to spare. We couldn’t have picked a better restaurant & the bonus was it was very reasonable. Great job Carmine’s!!More infoCarmine's - 44th Street - NYCPrice: Moderate• Italian• Theater District•4.6
