- CCherylLos Angeles •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoEntire meal was exquisite! We started with the Artichokes and Pork Belly appetizers, then as main courses: Paella, short rib with Moroccan spiced lentils and the Ribeye with whipped potatoes. We shared everything and in our group the best dish vote went to the Ribeye (probably due to the gorgeous chimichurri and quality of the beef), but truly, everything was superb! (NOTE: Save room for the flan!!)More infoCasa Cordoba - MontrosePrice: Moderate• Spanish• Montrose•4.7
- LLAURALos Angeles •8 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe Castaway - Burbank is a wonderful restaurant. The food and drink options are delicious. The only issue I have is the choice of music and how loud it’s played. The style of music played I think is more club-ie than for a really great restaurant that has is on the higher price end. I’m not saying the music should be orchestral and old, just not that club never ending loud beat music. Plus it was so loud on the patio. It didn’t match the restaurant at all.More infoCastaway - BurbankPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Burbank•4.5
- NNadaLos Angeles •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis is the first time dining at Bacari GDL. We were a party of 2 sitting in the outdoor area on Brand. We thoroughly enjoyed all the “bites” we ordered: stuffed mushrooms, scallops, shawarma tacos, mushroom pizza, chicken sliders, and chocolate dessert. All were tasty and perfect for sharing. What to know: plan on ordering several dishes (appetizer size) and the food comes out as it is made, so don’t expect everything at once. There are heaters, but bring a jacket. It is still chilly on the patio. There are several staff members helping out, so make sure you get your orders if you are waiting too long. There was a mix up with our dessert. I think one waiter thought the other put in the dessert. The indoor area is small and we preferred to be outside and people watch. One thing that bugged us was that we wanted to sit closer to a heater and we were denied because it was a four-top and not allowed for a party of two AND it was being held for “reservations “. I stated that we had a reservation, but still denied. Five minutes later, they sat a party of 2. When we mentioned it to the host and said, hey, what’s up with the party of 2? The host stated that he follows the rules 🫤. Not cool, but we got over it. Overall it was an excellent experience with the food and staff . We will definitely come back to try the lettuce wraps and other items on the menu.More infoBacari GDLPrice: Expensive• Italian• Glendale•4.7
- MMashaOrange County •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI booked afternoon tea for a group of four. We were seated promptly, and blankets were provided to keep us warm outside, which my guests loved. The tea and scones arrived quickly, and everything was delicious—warm tea, tasty sandwiches, and lovely desserts. Although the outdoor seating is near the road, it wasn’t busy, so noise wasn’t an issue. Some additional separation, like drapery or dividers, could enhance the ambiance, but the shrubbery provided adequate distance. Overall, we had a fantastic afternoon and will definitely return.
