Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in New Market

The Thanksgiving dinner service was everything we could ask for and more. The food was some of the best I’ve had at Founding Farmers Tyson’s and I feel like we got our money’s worth because the meals we received were enough for two meals and we were able to take Thanksgiving leftovers home:) We also had some time concerns, and the restaurant manager Dean was extremely helpful in getting us out on time and making sure that we had everything that we needed. He was also kind enough to get a requested dessert for one of our guests. We’ve had experience with Dean before and he has outstanding customer service skills! Excellent management, quality food, service and ambience are the reasons that Tyson’s Founding Farmers is our favorite go-to restaurant that we’ve been coming to for years because we can always count on a quality dining experience. Excellent Thanksgiving day meal. Everything was delicious from the assortment of breads and butters and jam to the desserts. Even though it was quite busy, all the food came out fresh, hot, and prepared as requested. I would definitely go back!

We sat at the bar for Thanksgiving and the service was friendly, quick and efficient. The main course (plant-based veggie loaf for we vegetarians) was fantastic as were the sides. Highly recommend.

It's been many years since I've been to the Tabard Inn, so long ago that I was living in Dupont on Riggs Place. It was low key and funky and much smaller. The present version is very different but equally enjoyable. Larger, still good food, but more space and fewer distractions. A great place to meet for breakfast and escape from the bustling of one of Washington's friendliest circles.
