Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Taylorsville

Exceptional experience from arrival to departure, which speaks volumes about their staff and how in unison they all are, everything was seamless, friendly and welcoming with a smile. My server, Juan was phenomenal, offered tremendous service throughout, and was super knowledgeable about the entire menu, which provided me with a spectacular dining experience. The new Asian inspired crab cakes belong in the culinary hall of fame; sesame crusted, with depths of flavors that were as stunning as the plating of the dish. Their Bison steak cooked perfectly medium rare was outstanding as was the pairing of the duck fat fingerlings and out of this world Brussels sprouts, in unison, all were such a thing of beauty. Flavored butter and their mocktails were also delicious and unique! Guy at the front desk was awesome, knowledgeable about the history of the establishment and took wonderful care of me. I’ve dined around the world at a multitude of Michelin starred restaurants, Log Haven belongs right at the top with any of them. This is the restaurant to visit in Salt Lake City, otherworldly in every way, as close to perfect and paradise as a dining experience can be. Thank you, Log Haven and staff! The food and service was INCREDIBLE but the noise was so bad I couldn’t hear anyone at my table talking, and I had requested a quiet table and they sat us next to a very loud party of 10! Was a bit disappointed.

A small group of us went to Kimi's to celebrate a birthday. What a wonderful experience. The ambiance is beautiful, classy and calm. Our waiter could not have been more attentive and had perfect timing. The food was fantastic! Try the pork chop! And the jewel of the night -- dessert with a sparkler for my dining companion celebrating a birthday. It was a special and perfect night. Thank you Kimi!

I loved my salmon. We loved the bison and the elk!! We love the salad!! My husband doesn’t love your tenderloin. He doesn’t think it’s as high quality as other similarly priced restraunts. That was the only downside for him. He liked the gravy.. which he dusky doesn’t prefer a gravy in his tenderloin! Our waiter was awesome and accommodating!! The birthday desserts were a surprise! It was a fun evening!!

First of all…. We didn’t go for the “value” we went because this place is great, has great food, is fun to go to and the service has always been exceptional!! Last night Sky was our server and she was beyond great. Some of the small critical issues, while dining, that bug me were tended to and she listened so our service was awesome!! We had 4 different guests and 4 different dinners. Enchiladas, Pesto Pasta, Salmon and Stroganoff. We were all very pleased with our meals. Each couple shared a salad and the portions were surprisingly nicely sized. The grilled pear salad was exceptional and the pears were warm!! Delicious!! We all shared a Butter Cake for desert and was also very suited for the evening. Our friends had Espresso Martinis that they wish they could have had another but also needed to drive home. I enjoyed a Latte and my date had just a cup of coffee which Sky said she brewed a fresh pot of coffee as they had not yet served any!! Good job Sky! We’re liking The Cliff more and more each time we go!!
