Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Worthington

Service was outstanding. Multiple servers made for great attention. We were a party of 5 and easily serviced quickly. Food quality was outstanding. The special and other dishes were delicious. Everything was perfect. Great vibe to the place. Great decor. Very clean bathrooms. All in all a great experience.

Our server, Sarah, was spot on and had a delightful sense of humor. Thank you! Two of us had the walleye almandine, the others had the halibut and chicken quesadilla. All were fabulous (we expected no less) and three of us asked for boxes to go… that’s how generous the portions are. We love the Polaris Grill and will be back as we failed to ask for the 55 Salad dressing to go!

I wanted to listen to some jazz music in particular and saw there would be a jazz band playing at the Worthington Tavern and decided to give them a listen. My expectations were low going in and when the band started out slow musically, they turned things up to a level that blew me and my date away! The band consisting of a Saxophone, Electric Piano and Drums, started playing smooth jazz numbers and to my surprise all were excellent musicians, so much so that I would have paid a cover to see and ended up adding to their tip jar. The food was tasty and the service was fast and attentive. Overall it was an amazing evening for me and my date!

We booked a reservation for six people on Christmas Eve. It was our first time dining at Nicola. The special Christmas Eve menu offered a wonderful range of options, and we all found several things to enjoy across the courses. Our server was spectacular - she was helpful, responsive, and kind. The food and drinks came out quickly and at the perfect temperature. Everything was delicious. I had spent a lot of time choosing a restaurant for Christmas Eve. I wanted to go somewhere that took this occasion seriously and would make it feel special for our family. Nicola surpassed my greatest expectations, and I felt like we were truly able to enjoy this dinner together in a restaurant that understood the meaning of the day. There was not a single flaw. We will definitely return!
