Best Pre-Theater Restaurants in Upper Kirby / Shepherd Corridor

We had a great dining experience on Christmas Eve! The hostess, waitress and valet staff were top notch and very attentive! Our drinks were tasty, cold & strong! The food was fantastic- we had avocado dip and deviled eggs for appetizers and the Ahi Tuna Salad and Blackened Redfish entrees. Loved the ambiance and decor too!

Sommelier was fantastic. Loved the wine and desert wine. Best Christmas dinner ever. Can’t wait for next year.

This place is amazing, we go every time we are near the theater district. Most times I am more excited to eat there than go to a show. It is not only a great restaurant, but very historical building. They have pictures of timeline on the wall. Great menu for anyone’s taste in my opinion.

One of my favorite places to eat when attending a show at the Hobby Center. The food is always great and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

Made a reservation for 5p for 6 people because of holiday season. We were the only ones in the restaurant for 1 1/2 hours! I have no idea why, the food was really good! Everything tasted very fresh, the bread is made onsite so that makes a difference. Friends raved about the ceviche and the Texqueno was amazing. I would happily recommend and go back.
