Best Restaurants with Private Rooms in Thornton

My husband and I went for Valentine’s dinner. They had 3menus to choose from. I chose the 3course valentine menu. The mini beef Wellingtons were outstanding. The Cesar salad was outstanding, the braised short ribs were outstanding. Everything was cooked perfectly, flavors melded nicely and it was thoroughly enjoyable. My husband had the prime rib and it too was outstanding. Everything was cooked perfectly! We have been to Flatz on multiple occasions in the past. It’s one of those hidden gems that you don’t realize is there but when you do, it’s a delight. It was a wonderful relaxing dinner that really dazzled our tastebuds. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Although I did mark down a little on ambience (a refurbished Chinese restaurant), it was perfectly fine and representative of the best that this area seems to offer. And the price took a hit due to this being a pre fixe menu on Valentines Day, pricer than usually but again, similar to other offerings in this area. But they had plenty of staff on a very busy holiday, service was excellent, and the food was very fresh, well made, and delicious. Highly recommend.

Meredith was amazing. She spent time explaining each of the wines and how they’re made. We had a great evening, drinking wine and chatting all night. It was very quiet for a Wednesday, but it made the environment very peaceful.

Great food, staff, atmosphere. We come here once a month. This time we were a party of 11, separate checks and they handled it efficiently.
