- WWaltNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis specific visit to The Smith was for Thanksgiving Dinner. There was a group of us, and the reservation needed to be modified several times, due to additions and cancellations. The staff at The Smith was so pleasant and accommodating each time I had to contact the restaurant. They could not have been nicer. And the Thanksgiving dinner was great. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Such a nice experience!More infoThe Smith - East VillagePrice: Moderate• American• East Village•4.7

Very convenient if you are traveling by Metro North. The food was delicious, my only thought is that the Onion soup was a bit sweet, as if it had sugar in it, but still great, I just prefer it less sweet. Mussels and fries were great, truffle fries, by the way. It’s on the expensive side, but no different than any other restaurant in the same level. We’ll be going back.More infoGrand BrasseriePrice: Expensive• French• Midtown East•4.3
