Started our meal with the smoked chorizo and Gillis’s dip with house made chips. The smoked chorizo was perfectly timed with the smoked Gouda cheese. The house chips were fresh and crisp with a hint of a wheats taste to them, a perfect pairing for the dip. The burrito put a hurting on my spouse but they managed to finish it anyways. Ribs were meaty, delicate, and perfectly smoked. The burnt end pork belly sandwich was perfect and the coleslaw was crisp, crunchy, and had just enough sweetness to it to take the edge off the Brussel sprouts. A side of the smoked Gouda Mac-N-Cheese didn’t stand a chance. Looking forward to giving the weekend brunch a try soon!More infoFour PegsPrice: Moderate• American• Germantown•4.5

Grace who we were lucky enough to have for the second time took such wonderful care of us. Food and specialty cocktails were excellent.More infoLobby Bar & Grill at the Brown HotelPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown Louisville•4.7
- RRichardCentral Kentucky •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe did St; Valentines Day dinner at The Café, and it is one of our more memorable dining experiences. The scallop appetizer was stunning. We both had the lobster tails - yes two - really nice sized and extremely well cooked crustaceans. I would rate this place for special dinners a smidgeon better than Ramsays at the Casino. They have music on special occasion evenings and jazz on Sunday evenings. Great dining experience.More infoThe Café Southern Kitchen & CocktailsPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown Louisville•4.2
- CCyndiVIPCentral Kentucky •30 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 7, 2025We loved the open concept! Beautiful decorations very modern. We all had drinks. I ordered the mozzarella sticks. They were pieces for fired cheese that were absolutely wonderful. Crunchy outside and chewy inside. I could have made a meal of this. Michael ordered the hamburger and fries. The hamburger was juicy and flavorful. The fries were crispy and tasty! I had the fish sandwich which was huge! I had to cut off the sides to fit it in the bun. It was so good!!! Sandi and Greg split a sandwich which was a hamburger. They also ordered Brussels sprouts and a salad! Our bill was reasonable. We were glad we made reservations but they were also sitting walk ins. I was hesitant to go downtown but we all felt so safe. It is located near the Yum Center! Definitely will go back!More infoNic & Normans - LouisvillePrice: Moderate• American• West Louisville•3.9
