Best Restaurants for a Quick Bite in Downtown

Best French casual restaurant in San Diego. Everything was made and cooked very well. The side salads could be spruced up a bit as it was just lettuce and nothing else. The Cruffin was lovely. The Benedict was amazing. The quiche was light and fluffy with a crunchy edge.

Absolutely Beautiful for Christmas Eve dinner!! Decorations were gorgeous, ambiance was intimate, festive, warm, cheerful. Food was delicious loved grilled oysters, bruschetta, fried short rib balls, steak was yummmy!! Drinks were great, and service was on point! Beautiful experience thank You La La!! I came here for a romantic date and it was so amazing! We booked a reservation right away and that’s hard to find on a Saturday night. Parking was super easy and service is very friendly and fast. The food is 10/10 as well as drinks ! The music is great quality and I’ll come back pretty soon to try more of the cocktails.

Did “dinner & show” with 4 grandkids & my daughters for an outing to see The Nutcracker. Valet parking made our somewhat tight schedule on a Friday night easier. Kids loved the Brussels sprouts & charcuterie plate. Daughter finessed Shirley Temples for the kids, bartender was unsure, probably not a huge call for them. This was repeat for us, did the matinee with lunch last year. Good food, drinks, great service!

Love this place. It has been one of the most consistently GREAT dining experiences in San Diego since I moved here 10am years ago. I brought a group of 8 people to enjoy the pizza there and everyone said the same thing. I’ll be back soon. 😎🎈
