Best Restaurants for a Quick Bite in Ravenswood

Was skeptical of the non wait staff idea to begin with, but it wasn’t a huge detriment at all! Someone in our group has a tree nut allergy and their dish did come out with pecans. Unfortunately it did take a while to get a replacement dish and it seemed like the staff member who brought us our food forgot (took 45 minutes to get a replacement dish) but good coffee and company helped the time go by quickly! Not a fan of the hour and 15 minute time limit (especially since we all didn’t get out food for a whole hour). They should do away with that.

We stopped by for a quick bite & few drinks after our trip to the dog park. We love Jalapeño Homies + Fries. Our pup gets his water bowl too. On previous occasions, PPPP imposed a 20% mandatory tip (began during COVID). Now they utilize the Sunday app for payments, not a big fan of it due to the app usage fee.

Great experience, volume enough to talk to my peers on the table, food and service was excellent!

Great place to eat would make this a stoping point while you’re in Chicago
