Best Restaurants for Anniversaries in Elk Grove Village

We celebrated a birthday yesterday and had a wonderful meal. Everything was delicious! We aren’t big on seafood so for an app we went with prosciutto wrapped mozzarella which was so good! For our entrees we went with the filet mignon with asparagus and mashed potatoes and it was perfect. We were taken care of by Michael, who was so friendly and maintained a wonderful pace for our meal. We’ll definitely be back again!

My boyfriend and I were celebrating Valentine’s Day late due to our differing work schedules. We were a little late for our reservation so we didn’t mind waiting for our table. So we decided to start with drinks at the bar, which were absolutely delicious. The table we were seated at was right next to the salad bar which was a very high traffic area, which wasn’t great, but the food was incredible. Our waiter, Rudy, was very attentive and personable. We also had a great interaction with one of the meat servers, Andrew, who helped us get our hands on some of the amazing fried cheese with honey. Overall a good experience, we plan on going back again, maybe just at a different table.

What a FABULOUS birthday dinner from the crab and lobster crab cake to the perfectly cooked rib lamb chops. The buttered corn with bacon is a definite must, when choosing a side dish. The complimentary dessert trio was phenomenal!! One of my absolute favorite things about the Capital Grille is, the staff. The staff is very friendly, professional and really attentive. Thank you to our server David for a wonderful evening!!!

These days, with inflation driving up the cost of everything, it’s hard to find a good deal. But at Shabu-Yo, you get unlimited fresh vegetables, beef, pork, and seafood—plus a great selection of ready-made dishes and desserts. On top of that, the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The overall value you get is well worth the price. Highly recommended!
