- DDeniseVIPWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur evening and dinners were superb. The ambiance was beautiful and service was excellent. This was my second time dining here, the first time was probably 20 years ago. My only disappointment was we were celebrating a 75th birthday, which they acknowledged when we walked in. They really didn’t do anything for the birthday except bring out a candle and four little gummy’s at dessert time. We had ordered a couple of desserts. You would’ve thought one of them could’ve been complementary or they could’ve brought out a regular dessert to celebrate with considering how much money we spent last night. - MMackenzieSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoGriffin was so helpful and recommended wine pairings and courses for us to try. He was very knowledgeable about the wines and answered all our questions. He wrote us a personal note congratulating us on our anniversary and engagement and really made the whole night very special. The food was very tasty and well worth the price. We both left stuffed and happy! Thanks for ringing in this new chapter with us.More infoIron GatePrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Dupont Circle•4.7
- MMikeVIPWashington, D.C. Area •177 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe introduced our friends, who are new to the area, to the best restaurant in Washington, DC. The Valet parking guys greeted us warmly. The hostess stand was friendly and welcoming. Server Wayne did a phenomenal job. He was great with wine selection. Wayne also did a fantastic job in explaining some of the unique items on the menu, and some of the more popular items to our friends. The Calamari was delicious. Our salads were fresh, crisp, and tasty. My bone-in fillet was sensational. My wife and our friends loved their entrees too. The sides were a wonderful compliment to our main courses. We had a great night! We cannot wait to return to The Capital Grille. Our thanks to all who made it a really special evening.More infoThe Capital Grille - Washington DCPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Capitol Hill•4.8

Service is good and the restaurant feels as authentic as they come.More infoGiovanni's TrattuPrice: Moderate• Italian• Dupont Circle•4.6
