Best Restaurants for Anniversaries in Portola Valley

The food was outstanding. Our party of 5 had a preferred round table. We ordered grilled octopus and popcorn crab appetizers (both outstanding), and 4 people ordered steak and 1 person fish. Everyone was delighted. Two of us ordered the trio of wagyu steaks with salts and enjoyed comparing US, Australia and Japan (although we wished the Japanese cut matched the other two countries). Service was pro and unobtrusive. It's not inexpensive, but it was outstanding.

This was our first time to eat here and we loved it. The service was a little slow but overall we had a great experience. The food was delicious and not overly priced.

We love the food, from soup to dessert every dish is most excellent. In general the wine is good but they could offer more choices. The setting is beautiful. Because of Parkside Grille popularity, early dining is frequently noisy, if you like it quiet, we recommend dining later in the evening. Parkside Grille is our favorite for celebrating events.

It was great! A bit high for the cost but always a good time.

Wish I paid attention to our waiter when he told us his name. He was great. Also, being able to order lunch off the dinner menu was wonderful. Everything we ordered was perfect. For example, ice cold martinis, wedge salad, onion rings, filet mignon sandwich, burger, and everything else.
