It’s one of the only places we’ve been to in years where the food, service, cleanliness, and ambiance are perfect every time. We usually get a chicken tawook, some garlic labneh, some rice, some veggie skewers, and occasionally hummus or makanek if I’m feeling extra hungry. The lamb shank is also excellent. It’s nice to see an actual dining room manager floating around keeping an eye on dinner service without being overbearing. That’s an art in itself. We don’t really drink but we always get sparkling water and the type they carry is deliciously sharp. I’ve only had their sticky toffee pudding as far as the desserts go, but it was very good! Really nice ice cream that certainly tastes homemade to me. We’ll keep coming back if they keep it up like this!More infoAmal RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Lebanese• Yorkville•4.7
- EEkjotToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday, and it was an amazing experience! We tried the Louix Louis burger, Marlada pasta, and mac and cheese. The burger and pasta were absolutely delicious, but unfortunately, the mac and cheese fell short of our expectations it lacked flavor. Despite that, the ambiance was fantastic, and the service was great . I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great lunch or dinner in the city!More infoLOUIX LOUISPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Financial District•4.6

The sommelier is well versed in his product. All courses are well explained on service. The view, city or harbour is great. Dress is business casual, so not fussy, but not T shirt and ball cap. You are there to dine, not eat. That said, a $500 dinner should come with water…not at $9 per bottle.More infoDon Alfonso 1890Price: Very Expensive• Contemporary Italian• Harbourfront•4.8
- AAmélieToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI had the best focaccia I’ve ever eaten here! The seasoning of the dishes was just right, perfectly balanced without being too salty, which is something I’ve noticed in many restaurants lately. Every dish was flavorful without overwhelming the palate. The only minor downside was that I felt a bit rushed when ordering food and drinks, as if there was some time pressure. However, I want to emphasize that the server was not rude at all, in fact, they were very kind and attentive to details. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d love to visit again!More infoOsteria GiuliaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Yorkville•4.7
