Welcome to The Greyhound, a 17th century coaching inn, in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town.Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the pub and restaurant was named as the ‘One to Watch in the UK’s prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs Awards, named a TripAdvisor 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award Winner, and voted the best restaurant in Bucks & Oxon by guests in the annual Muddy Stilettos awards. The Greyhound is made up of 3 key areas for guests to enjoy: an intimate drinking lounge and outside drinking terrace, the main restaurant for dining (upstairs and downstairs), and an outdoor covered and heated dining terrace. Enjoy a great array of freshly cooked dishes. Magnificent dishes are cooked by Chef Akira. Relax and enjoy lunch or dinner whilst making the most of the gorgeous views of our 33 acre landscaped gardens and The River Thames.The theme of the Omakase course is a fusion of Japanese cuisine with local British and European ingredients. For example, we use traditional European ingredients such as croissants to create sushi and pasta to create Japanese dishes. We use the fresh Japanese wagyu beef for our starters and sushi, and we also use the Japanese techniques of curing local fish of Europe - using kombu seaweed - to bring out the best of the ingredients. Omakase course is £150 pp (£195 with wine & sake pairing)All the guests (10-12 covers) will be seated on the same time on 1 long table.
