Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Carnelian Bay

Our server was Martine and he couldn’t have been more delightful! The food was great, a tad on the expensive side but you pay extra for the ambiance. There was a live band who was playing hits and so much fun. Great, strong drinks. We will always come back here!

I forgot to take photos but we have been coming here for years and we think the food is even better than before! Wow my son ate all my potato asparagus soup it was so good! I had the scallops wow they were in a creamy delicious sauce. Best scallops I have had in years!! My mother had the rack of lamb and said it was perfectly cooked and also delicious! Thank you we will Be back!

We made a reservation for New Years Day for 10 people, and we’re easily accommodated when we needed to adjust the time. All the staff we encountered were incredibly friendly, professional and helpful. Even though they were very busy due to the holiday, we were served in reasonable time and all of our needs were met. We had an excellent seat with a beautiful view of the lake at sunset. Excellent experience!

An exceptional meal in a lovely setting. The four of us dined liked kings at Christy Hill. We started with four delicious appetizers and liked the tuna crudo and brussel sprouts best. Highlights of our main dishes were the black cod and the lamb. Loved that the food was served on warm plates. And we finished with the chocolate croissant bread Pudding. Delicious! Service was impeccable.

It was an okay dining experience last night. We typically love our evenings at the sawyer, but our server last night was a little spacey and honestly non-attentive… we are not used to experiencing this at the Sawyer.
