We created a new MODERN CHIC vibe...The new name "Frankie's Since 1988" as an ode to our original restaurant on the Southside of Chicago. No longer a fine dining white tablecloth restaurant. Our new concept more energetic music, vibrant craft cocktails & mocktails along with the same homemade pastas and signature dishes, such as Ciambotta (sausage & peppers), meatballs, Chicken "limone" with a lemon butter & capers sauce amongst others that have been loved throughout the years from Frankie's. Outstanding! We enjoyed a drink and appetizer at the bar before our dinner reservation. The bar staff was friendly and helpful and the pastry cheese puffs were melt in your mouth delicious. Dinner was delicious and our server was delightful. Vibrant scene in a great location.

Food was excellent. Prepared/cooked as requested. Steaks here are always delicious. Eddie Merlot's chopped salad is my favorite, and it didn't disappoint last night. They've changed the shrimp cocktail sauce a bit and neither myself nor my husband were fans of the new sauce - but other than that, everything was perfect. Bread served warm. Wine was excellent - and a good value too. (A Napa bottle of cab sauv wine for $75 in a restaurant is pretty good!) Water glasses kept full. We will be back.

Always great! Christmas Day Dinner is usually stressful and expensive at a restaurant. It was perfect at Francesca’s last night. They did a great job allowing off the menu selections, friendly service and a beautiful atmosphere. But, pls for the love of Italian food, bring back the old Ceasar Salad. The new recipe is not good. The old one was perfection!!!
