Besides the food The staff is what really set to spring apart from the rest, everybody was attentive, yet not annoying, they guided us through the menu with amazing food suggestions and wine options.More info2 SpringPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Oyster Bay•4.6

Baked Clams: whole, small, breadcrumbs were not overly seasoned so I could taste the clams. Meatballs-regular: tennis ball size, not too firm or overly breaded, delicious, their red sauce is sweet and yummy. Chris & Tony’s salad: was plated which was nice, perfectly dressed, added the salami and cheese on the side which was a nice addition. Dinner - rigatoni alla vodka with prosciutto was maybe the best we ever had, pasta was actually al dente, not over-sauced, outstanding. Fillet of soul - broiled, francese style - light, flaky, very fresh, well balanced francese sauce - not too much lemon or capers. Last was the veal Marsala which I cannot comment on because I couldn’t eat anymore but the folks I was with loved it. We did not have dessert. Overall, pricey but that being said, I don’t mind paying for exceptional food and service which is not too common especially on the island. Well worth it and we will go back.More infoChris & Tony's Restaurant & LoungePrice: Expensive• Italian• Syosset•4.8
- AAmandaNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis was another phenomenal experience at Rare. Multiple staff members checked in to see if we needed anything throughout our dining experience (including the general manager, Cliff). We sat right across from the bar in a large booth. The cocktails, appetizers, entrees, sides and desserts we had were all high quality. They even gave us complimentary limoncello after dessert! We will certainly be back soon. This restaurant has valet parking, price fixed menus available and also offers private event space.More infoRARE650Price: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Syosset•4.7

Service by Isabella was excellent. Wonderful window seating. And most of all today, entertainment by Gail Storm on piano was excellent! Her piano playing, singing, and song choice made for a special afternoon!!More infoGrasso'sPrice: Expensive• American• Cold Spring Harbor•4.7
