- MMariSan Francisco Bay Area •14 reviews5.0Dined todayI'd long wanted to dine at Musso & Frank Grill and finally had my chance tonight. It's an L.A. classic that's turned out elegant comfort food and delectable martinis for 105 years. My husband and I were not disappointed: the restaurant's storied history, ambience, food, and service all combined to make a memorable dining experience. We started with cocktails (a St. George Terroir martini for me, a Fern Dell for him), the baked escargot, and the wedge salad — all delicious (I especially enjoyed the house-made bleu cheese dressing that came with the salad). For our mains, my husband ordered the Saturday special: Braised Short Ribs of Beef with vegetables (diced carrots — too many, he thought — and peas) and mashed potatoes. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and so flavorful! I had the NY Strip, cooked medium rare, and it was perfectly prepared. We shared the baby broccolini, which was grilled and had a wonderful char. Our waiter Leonardo brought us a brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a candle, as we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Service was thoughtful, courteous, and efficient. We had a delightful experience and look forward to our next opportunity to dine at Musso & Frank!More infoMusso & Frank GrillPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Hollywood•4.8
- JJeffLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWent here on a first date and was not disappointed! The ambience is very cool, the food was amazing, presentation was on point, and the service was exceptional. Was there on a Friday night when they have a DJ spinning, all in all added up to a very hip new location I would be happy to visit again. - KKoriVancouver / British Columbia •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe have always enjoyed coming to the Front Yard. The menu is unique, in both food and drink, the service is always wonderful, and the food delicious. Our only comment for this meal was that the charcuterie board was pretty sparse for $24. Didn't feel like the value equaled the price, while the other shareables and entrees were closer matched quantity/quality to cost.More infoThe Front YardPrice: Moderate• Californian• Studio City•4.6
