Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Sun Prairie

Buck & Honeys in Sun Prairie is always amazing! We love going there! The food is beyond delicious! The staff is always friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is always perfect.

The food was excellent. This is a really nice place with a supper club feel. It’s very clean. We were seated close to a huge bank of windows that looked out over the water (ice) and it was snowing… it was very pretty! We couldn’t have asked for a better server! I don’t recall his name unfortunately. But he was funny, polite and attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed and our food was served with just enough time between courses. They had a special menu for Valentines Day. Dinner came with a salad which we both enjoyed. All of the ingredients were really fresh. I ordered the clam chowder as well and it was very tasty. For entree’s - hubby had the salmon and said it was delicious! I ordered the Mariner’s Shrimp and neither of us have ever seen such large shrimp…and the batter was so light and tasty. It was a little if the expensive side but we enjoyed it. We will definitely be making reservations here again. Thank you to The Mariner’s Inn and our server for the wonderful Valentines dinner!

Great staff and the food was excellent! Beautiful location that is set right outside of Waunakee! If you’re looking for a restaurant that offers a variety of options for food and drinks this place is a must! Will be back again soon!
