Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Woodmere

Never been to Heck’s despite living in Mayfield/Beachwood my whole life. Stumbled in here on accident after stopping for a glass of wine at Antica. We intended to just stop for cocktails & small bites, but the menu looked so interesting we stayed for dinner and it is now our new favorite spot. I was wary of the strawberry balsamic martini, but wanted to take a risk and try something new. It did not disappoint! A great balance of sweet & savory. My date had the mai tai and loved it. We enjoyed the eggplant dip and the salt & pepper fries, and were so impressed we decided to order dinner. We got a wonderful Brussels Caesar salad that was the perfect size to split, and the short rib with asparagus was to die for. It fell off the bone, was juicy and tender. It was the first time we went out to dinner around here and were genuinely impressed. Their desert menu looked amazing, but we were just too full. The quality of the food versus the price is insane as well. The portion sizes are wonderful, all nice to share, and compared to other places in the area, the food is worth every penny. On top of that, the service and ambiance was awesome. We will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu! Such a happy accident.

It was my son's birthday and we celebrated at Hyde Park. he had the bone in ribeye steak with a side of creamed corn that the 3 of us shared. My other son and I had Chicken Milanese which was beyond delicious. The waiter brought out a complimentary chocolate torte for sharing to finish the evening. It's a great place for special occasions or anytime. The food is always delicious and staff makes you feel special so I recommend it.

Very enjoyable Brunch, great service, great food, great atmosphere! The kids and I love coming to the Haunted House Restaurant!

Everything was great, there were 4 of us- 2 got the regular 4 course and 2 got the “Big night out”- frankly the original was a better deal in respect that the portions seemed bigger than the big night out. The cheese and chocolate fondues were great!!! Can’t wait to come back!!

Overall great experience! Table of eight and thee were no complaints. Food was delicious and service was very accommodating to a few specific food needs. We definitely agreed we would happily return for another casual night out.
