Mixed reviews on the food: my date liked her biscuits and gravy, but my Caesar salad was WAY over-dressed and the chicken on top of it was bone dry (overcooked). For $30+ for a salad, it should have been a lot better than it was. I'll give it another try, but no salads for me next time.More infoThe Tiller Restaurant at Cliff HousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Ogunquit•4.7

Tried the housemade donuts (cranberry orange & espresso martini), and they lived up to the hype 100%! Seriously, if we weren’t so full, I would have taken a couple of the orange-cranberry ones to go! Then we had chicken & waffles and the pastrami hash. The chicken was incredibly crispy and the hash was delicious- lots of peppers & onions to complement the pastrami. Music was loud (we were right in front of the DJ) with some great selections! Service was excellent as well. We will definitely be back!More infoLedger Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• American• Salem•4.7

We wanted to stay but our friends had reservations for us at another place - and that place was not great. So on our next visit we wanted to try this place. Derek our server was super nice and knowledgeable. I asked for his recommendations as I had been on a streak of not asking and ordering something I was disappointed in. We started with his recommendation of crudo and it was fantastic. I normal order an app that is way too big and ruin my main meal. Then I got the Hake and my wife got the salmon. We got a side of shoestrings. All were excellent. If I’m being a Chopped judge I think a touch of acid would have made the Hake other worldly. Super lively great service - place was PACKED. Highly recommendedMore infoRow 34 - PortsmouthPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Portsmouth•4.7
