- JJamesVIPChicago / Illinois •50 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe reserved a table for our anniversary and when we were seated, there was a card showing “Happy Anniversary”; what a beautiful welcome! Our server, Davis, came by, introduced himself, and offered us a complimentary flute of sparkling wine, which we accepted. We ended up ordering a bottle of the sparkling wine with dinner it was that good. We started with splitting a sautéed calamari app since my wife has a gluten allergy; it was a bit hot but very tasty. She had the beet salad next and I had the Caesar salad, both on pointe. Our entrees were the chef’s sliced tenderloin with cippolinni onions and mushrooms and the tomahawk veal chop with mushrooms and demi-glacé. Both were off-the-hook and actually too much for us to finish so we asked to have our leftovers wrapped. After our entrees, Davis brought a complimentary dessert plate with a flourless chocolate mini cake and a mini cheesecake with “Happy Anniversary” stenciled in chocolate. What a finishing touch! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit; the atmosphere and cuisine was outstanding! Davis made our evening very memorable and we even had a visit from the manager on duty to wish us anniversary greetings!More infoThe Capital Grille - LombardPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Lombard•4.8

As soon as we sat down our server asked if my husband and I were celebrating anything special. When it was time for dessert our server brought us a complimentary dessert to celebrate my husband's birthday. Glad to see there are restaurants out there that still cater to the customer's satisfaction and happiness.More infoWildfire - Oak BrookPrice: Moderate• American• Oak Brook•4.7
- XXiomaraChicago / Illinois •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFrom sitting down to receiving the bill it was a wonderful experience. The peach bellini was refreshing, sweet and tasty. The bread they give with the giardinera was amazing. We ate and didn’t get full because the bread was so light and airy. The giradinera with the olive oil was amazing. So flavorful. The appetizer: beef carpaccio was delightful. It wasn’t heavy so it was the perfect appetizer. The rigatoni wasn’t spicy but it was flavorful. I added the chicken milanesa for protein and it was fried perfectly. They have two breasts if chicken on top of the rigatoni. The whitefish that my husband received was good. It was smaller than the one our neighboring table received, but besides that, it was a complete meal with yummy smashed potatoes and spinach. I enjoyed the olive oil cake, surprisingly. The description does not do the dessert justice. The chocolate budino wasn’t spicy VERY rich. Not to my liking, but it was decent. It seemed to be a flourless chocolate cake. The service was decent, despite being extremely busy. Overall, a nice way to spend a chilly evening in Oak Brook after winning at the Great Big Game Show.More infoAntico PostoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Oak Brook•4.7
- PPaulVIPChicago / Illinois •229 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWest coast oysters were terrific. Crabmeat avocado was delicious. The fillet was excellent as was the WR cut and a lobster tail for the table. We were celebrating Moms 97th birthday and server Diana was very gracious and give the table two walnut chocolate chip cookies topped with vanilla ice cream whipped cream and chocolate sauce. It was an excellent topper to a terrific evening.More infoGibsons Bar & Steakhouse - Oak BrookPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Oak Brook•4.8
- SSusanChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoLast year i went on new years day and it was way less like 120 for 2 people. 150 w tip. This new years day. I was not told it would be additional holiday pricing. It cost me 211 w tip for 2 people. used to be 50 per dinner then it had gone up to 60 then 70 now 80 on holidays. Its good but becoming way overpriced. Why so many changes. Also last yr dinner was going on at 4 430. I went in today and was told it was not open til 5 but there were reservation options listed for the whole day online. Servers were not as nice as usualMore infoChama Gaucha - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• Steak• Downers Grove•4.6
