Best Restaurants for Business Meals in Old San Juan

Everything we had was wonderful and thoughtful from the food to the cocktails. Our server gave us great recommendations and was very polite. I was here 10 years ago and the food is still as excellent as it was the first time. Bravo!

From the warm, friendly greeting upon entering to the farewell wish for a wonderful evening. Marmalade sets the standard for an amazing culinary adventure. I've traveled all around the world and am proud to say Marmalade is one of the only MUST revisit restaurants whenever I'm in San Juan. The menu is unique and pushes your taste buds to their limits. The staff is well educated and very helpful in explaining every dish and every wine pairing (yes, the wine pairing is a must). Reward yourself with someone you could never recreate at home or in any other restaurant. You'll thank me later many times over.

Exceptional service. One of our party has a nut allergy and not only did they accommodate us, when our food arrived the servers explained to us that all of the sides (served family style) were made nut free, so everyone at the table could enjoy them. We had salads, filets, salmon, asparagus, and spinach. Food was exceptional, except the decaf cappucino, which I suspect was instant. Regardless of the decaf, the food was well prepared, served hot and tasted great!

A Perfect Christmas Meal at Cocina Abierta We had the pleasure of enjoying a five-course Christmas meal at Cocina Abierta, and it was truly a night to remember. From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Our waitress, Celeste, was absolutely outstanding. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations and providing detailed explanations of each dish. She made the experience seamless for our family, who spoke a mix of Spanish and English, accommodating both languages effortlessly. As a family with a shellfish allergy, dining out can sometimes be a challenge, but the staff at Cocina Abierta handled it with care and professionalism. They were attentive to our needs, ensuring that every dish was safe without compromising flavor or presentation. The food itself was exceptional; each course was beautifully presented, and every bite showcased fresh, high-quality ingredients with masterful flavor combinations. It felt like a true celebration of Puerto Rican cuisine with a modern international twist. Overall, Cocina Abierta provided us with more than just a meal—it was an unforgettable holiday experience. Excellent, a real surprise, we loved everything about it. Food exceeded our expectations, service and ambiance was great. Would highly recommend it. Got to be one of the best restaurants in San Juan.
