- KKirkNew Orleans / Louisiana •9 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe have been eating at The Italian Barrel for 10 years or so and we have always had a great experience. The food is always great by NOLA standards which is saying something and the service has always been efficient and friendly. Saturday night was a birthday celebration and David, our server was great with food recommendations as well as wine. We could not recommend The Italian Barrel strong enough. You will not be disappointed.More infoThe Italian BarrelPrice: Expensive• Italian• French Quarter•4.6
- TTastebudVIPNew Orleans / Louisiana •10 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur waiter AJ was awesome. He explained everything very professionally and the surface was quick. We sat in the little dining room off to the left arm of the host check in area. The ambience was very romantic. We were a small group, and enjoyed very much The appetizer of the sausage with the eggplant. Two of us had the cioppino, which I can highly recommend. One guest had the lasagna which he said was absolutely excellent I have been waiting for three trips to New Orleans to finally get a reservation to get in Irene’s, and now I see what all the fuss is about. Don’t miss it.More infoIrene'sPrice: Expensive• Italian• French Quarter•4.9

Exceeded all of our expectations. my wife had the French toast and I had the Jackson Square omelette. I also had the brandy milk punch. It was excellent. Will definitely go back there again if I’m in New Orleans. More infoMuriel's Jackson SquarePrice: Very Expensive• Creole / Cajun / Southern• French Quarter•4.7
- DdonnaWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMr B's was, overall, the perfect way to end a good week full of good food in NOLA. The braised short rib dinner was very good. The bacon- wrapped shrimp and grits dish was one of the best renditions of that dish we've ever had, and we have sampled many. The Gallette de Roi (king cake) was fabulous, and, as a bonus, it wasn't covered with the bizarre -- and to me, off-putting -- purple, green and gold colors that the store bought ones have. Finally, our server, Rasheed, turned a great meal into an overall superb evening. He was efficient and helpful without being intrusive, very personable to talk to, and he provided thoughtful insights as we asked about some of the dishes and how they might appeal to our preferences. He was extremely professional, and yet he felt like a friend by the time we left. (If the management is reading this, you need to hold on to this guy with both hands. Give him a promotion and a big raise to ensure no one else snaps him up.) We'll definitely go back to Mr. Bs the next time we're in New Orleans.More infoMr. B's BistroPrice: Expensive• Creole• French Quarter•4.7

Swordfish had a very buttery texture. Also outstanding. Sweet and salty dessert also very good , put us over the top. Need to step up their craft beer choices.More infoGW FinsPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• French Quarter•4.9
