Steuben’s is named after a restaurant in Boston that my Great Uncles, Max and Joe, opened in 1945. Steuben's became a famous Boston restaurant, nightclub, and hotspot from the 1940’s to the 1960’s on Boylston Street. I’ve eaten here quite a few times and have never had a bad meal. The rib eye cap dinner is outstanding, but I departed and ordered the ribs last night. They were fall off the bone good!! Portion sizes are perfect and service is always attentive. This is one of my “go to” restaurants when I head to the Stapleton area. One area of caution. They changed their well bourbon for their Old Fashioned. It’s a terrible choice, so be sure to specify your own bourbon.

We had a party of six, came to dinner after seeing Blossoms of Lights. Four in the party had never been to Shells & Sauce, we all really enjoyed it. Great neighborhood gem!
