Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. Really good night exactly what I expected the evening to be.. very welcoming, seated straight away, plenty of staff on hand, food and drinks came in good timing and hard a lovely night with my girls.. loud and fun.

Really delicious food prepared in front of you. The menu may seem simple but the quality (and size) of the dishes is amazing. Pleasantly intimate setting with attentive but not overpowering service. The live stream / commentary can be distracting in such a small space but it's part of the package so no complaints. Would definitely return.
