Food: we ordered steak and sushi and upgraded to the bigger sirloin. The steak was absolutely amazing. I have had it a few times here but this time I tasted a charcoal taste on it that was very good. I’d be back for that steak for sure. We also had the salmon sushi it was great like always. We also ordered their burger, it was pretty good but nothing special about it. My partner has a phd in fries lol and she really loved the fries here. Service: This time we were served by Nikayla. She was very bubbly and made us feel welcomed and appreciated. When she first came to our table she engaged in a short conversation with us and as soon as she left i told my partner we have a great server. Will definitely be back! The beet salad minus the ricotta cheese lacked flavor but was better with some salt and pepper. Otherwise the food was delicious and the ambiance very cool. We weren’t rushed at all, and the food and ambiance was great. We had the chefs tasting menu and it was pricy, but I think it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The room decor was really warm and well done (feeling more upscale) and loved the quirky cat theme accents everywhere (bring your cat lover friends here). The drinks are witty and strong and so many umami good food moments. The sable fish tacos (you get 4 tortillas and the portion is generous) was melt in your mouth.
