Overall great, quick service and delicious food! We did dine early, and I could see the kitchen slowly down during peak hours

I unfortunately think this place suffered from being overhyped. The ambience and service were fantastic. However the food did not blow us away. While there were some highlights including the raw bay scallops, the hash brown, and the “Caesar like salad”, most was forgettable. For the price tag and portion sizes, we left a bit disappointed. Overall, good little spot. Not rushing back though.

Amina is an absolute gem where every dish bursts with flavor and heritage, blending African and African American traditions into unforgettable creations. I’ve visited twice and it was incredible both times. The fried chicken is perfectly crispy and juicy, paired with honey-drizzled cornbread that melts in your mouth, while the collard greens and jollof rice deliver soulful, bold flavors. Starters like black-eyed pea fritters and oxtail stew are rich and deeply satisfying. Desserts are finger licking good with the spiced sweetness of the sweet potato pie and the indulgence of peach cobbler. At Amina, every bite is seasoned to perfection, making it a must-visit if you want love great food.

Boyfriend and I got the lamb brisket as a starter, and then the salmon for main course and Thai cucumber salad as a side. We split them all. I would probably not order the lamb again, but everything else was fantastic. Our server Francis was super kind. Great dinner and highly recommend!

I cannot recommend The Love enough…the food was excellent! Everything we ordered was superb! The drinks were delicious and unique. The service from everyone start to finish was top notch. I really liked the feel and look of this establishment, it’s inviting and warm. The music selection was complimentary. The crowd is a nice mix of people. Clean, spacious restrooms too! I LOVED everything! Can’t wait to go back
