Best Restaurants for Foodies in Hamilton

It's always a real treat to come to Rapscallion, as it's my favourite restaurant in the city. The staff went above and beyond for my partner's birthday, and everyone was so warm and inviting. Your host at the door is always always my favourite person who's smiling face and attention to detail is second to absolutely NONE in the Hammer. I was gifted a copy of your recipe book that I've been coveting, because the food at Rap is beyond delicious - as both a French and Italian immigrant, the flavours truly remind me of home, and also appreciate the extensive mocktail and non-alcoholic beverage selections, as that's always a disappointing part missing from so many experiences dining out. I really love you guys. I keep coming back again and again throughout the years because you make the every day extraordinary, and there's none that compare to the quality of food and service, the atmosphere and beautiful vibes, anywhere in the Hamilton area. From the moment you walk down the stairs and into the restaurant, you feel like you're in a different country. The food was incredible and the pricing is what you would expect for a fine dining experience.

Love this place! The tacos (and apps!) are phenomenal, the classic margaritas, amazing! And such a fun vibe in the restaurant itself. I took some family and friends that had never dined here and they thoroughly enjoyed it! Will definitely be back and highly recommend! 🙂

We booked a table for dinner for family and they loved the ambience of the place and the hospitality provided by the owner Suzy. The food was quite a mix of flavours and really worked well for us as we were looking for some different delicacies to try in vegetarian. The place also offers gluten free food which was a plus as we had friends who wanted gluten free items. All in all a pleasant evening in a warm environment made for a lovely dinner.

Spectacular seafood and steak options with delicious appetizers and side dishes. We had oysters Rockefeller and charred octopus to start and I would go back just to have those again. Then went for the beef Wellington and lobster both of which we perfectly prepared. On top of the food, the staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Definitely a great dinning experience
