Following the success of his first restaurant in Vauxhall, chef and founder Ajay Chaurasia has opened a second site in Wimbledon, bringing his own personal take on Indian cuisine to South-west London. On offer is a range of lesser-known regional dishes along with plenty of tried-and-tested favourites so there’s something for everyone at this bright and cheerful restaurant. Chaurasia’s aim is to bring together flavours from all over the Indian continent, Sharing appetizers includes the likes of king prawns (Tiltala Jhinga) and sticky tamarind wings with avocado chat - a contemporary spin on the classic street food snack. Tandoor highlights include Murgh Hariyali Tikka, which is grilled chicken breast marinated with fresh green spices and yoghurt, as well as vegan options, too. (Bombay Delight does not use any ingredient that contains artificial coloring agent or flavor in our dishes. For those whose favour tradition, we have a Sunday Roast every week offering a variety of meats, the tastiest roast-potatoes you’ll ever have, and even a vegetarian option to please everyone! As Sundays often get very busy, we do recommend reserving a table in advance.

Was our first time at the restaurant and we really enjoyed ourselves. We had starters and a main course and all was delicious with generous portions. The seating was very comfortable and a lovely relaxed atmosphere, the team working there were friendly and attentive so we were not left waiting for anything even though the Restaurant filled up during the evening. Had a great time and will be going back soon. Thankyou

Lovely food and very attentive service. This is a very nice restaurant in the heart of Ewell. I’ve been before and would have no hesitation going again and would recommend it to others.

We really enjoyed our visit to EFES. As always we received a warm welcome, without exception the team here are very friendly and attentive. The food was great, and our daughter the Birthday girl received a piece of chocolate cake, accompanied by the whole team singing and clapping to make the occasion extra special. Looking forward to visiting again with our friends in December.
