- AAndreaJacksonville / Northeast Florida •63 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe dined at August nine years ago, and the food was so memorable we returned. The bar was set so high the first time, we didn’t think it would be possible to exceed it. Ann Marie, Felicia and the ladies delivering the food from the kitchen were quite the team. My husband and I are still reveling in our experience. Every course on the Réveillon Menu was a journey in taste and got better as we headed for dessert. I ate my first pumpkin dish and raw oyster. Kudos to the chef. The food was outstanding. My husband really enjoyed the spoon bread. My favorite was the pan-seared pompano. We will continue to make dining at August a priority every time we return to New Orleans.More infoRestaurant AugustPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Central Business District•4.9
- JJuneBaltimore / Maryland •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoWas excited to try one of Nina Compton’s places on our trip to New Orleans and it did not disappoint! The hush puppies were a great start and had a nice but not too over powering kick to it. My husband can’t stop talking about the pork belly and the goat curry gnocchi lived up to its reputation as one of the signature dishes! The Italian Stew was also a great vegan option and was packed with flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed and staff were excellent and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend as a stop on your trip to New Orleans!More infoCompère LapinPrice: Expensive• American• Central Business District•4.7
- BBobNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis is perhaps the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. It is a high end place but the value for the quality is excellent. The food was outstanding from the warm biscuits to the fabulous lobster dumplings to the Pompano fish to the bread pudding dessert. All four of us raved about our meals. The servers were wonderful. The noise level was pretty high. One server did put the entre and the dessert in front if the wrong person but that's the only possible criticism I can offer. This was an amazing dining experience.More infoGW FinsPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• French Quarter•4.9
