Best Restaurants for Foodies in Lake Forest

This was our first time at Farmhouse at Roger's Gardens, and we fell in love. The twinkling lights everywhere made my heart happy. The boys loved the burger and fries, and even the ketchup was made in-house! I had the pizza of the day, a prosciutto and Honeycrisp apple concoction that was delightful and delicious. Who knew apples worked on a pizza?!? My daughter had the half Jidori chicken, which was juicy and tender, and a large enough portion that she took half of it home with her. We also sampled two desserts, the lemon tart and apple crisp. Both were amazing, but the apple crisp was our favorite of the two. I definitely will be back and highly recommend this spot for a satisfying farm-to-fork meal.

The food was amazing! I had Vanessa as my waitress, and she was attentive, professional, and ensure that our evening was enjoyable. It was our first time eating at the restaurant, but will not be our last. Thank you so much and please give props to Vanessa for being a great waitress.

Excellent as always. Staff were professional and frequented our table to make sure we were good. Food was great, the special of the day are a genius idea and so we tried the blue crab baked oysters and they were oh so good. It was our anniversary and the restaurant were super generous and took care of us. Thank you so much!

First time eating here and we all were pleasantly surprised. Loved the food, the ambiance, the staff! Everything was amazing!

Fantastic, fun time at Puesto Los Olivos again. Food was delicious! We had the salsa bar (all the salsas were fantastic. The table's favorites ended up being the sweet, smoky pineapple and the smoky tomato), classic guacamole and various tacos for Taco Tuesday. I had the Verduras taco with no cheese because I'm vegan. I appreciate that they always accommodate that request. It is delicious! Other people at the table had the filet mignon, short rib and carnitas tacos. The favorite was the short rib taco. The ambiance is fantastic at this location. We sat out on their beautiful, festive patio, with hanging lights and heat lamps. This is always a favorite!
