Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country. I had an amazing experience, as usual. Our server Chris was attentive and engaging. The managers checked-in to make sure we were comfortable, and food and drinks were to our satisfaction. The food is outstanding! Period. Every dish was absolutely delicious as well as the crafted cocktails. If you plan to go, check out the menu but don't make up your mind before arrival. The chef will definitely have something on the specials that will make you rethink your decision.

An awesome experience! Highly recommend and will be back. Made a reservation for lunch for a party of 6. We were seated within 5 minutes of arrival. We were seated in a back corner and it was very hot when we sat down. The management adjusted the temperature when we informed them. Three of us got the Chef’s Tasting Menu and I added the Wine Pairing for an extra $45. The others ordered off the lunch menu. We enjoyed everything and plenty of food with the Tasting Menu. Highly recommend!

Cranes does not disappoint! Extremely well prepared and beautifully presented, the tapas dishes were fresh and provided exotic flavor combos. The dishes tend to be fairly heavy despite the small plate size because many of the dishes are fried and my only wish is that there were more variety of veggies available.
