Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. The new fit-out features bar-counter seats around an open kitchen, red booth seating divided by Japanese-style timber panelling and a hard-to-miss chandelier. We come to the Grand Palace whenever we have something to celebrate for two reasons: the absolute delicious food and how friendly and welcoming they are of us and our 2 year old.

It is always a pleasure dining here. The decor is stylish and atmosphere conducive to talking as well as eating; We recently brought visiting American friends and they loved it. We have also brought friends from the inner west of Sydney and they loved it too! The food was very good and the service was excellent. Thank you for what you do!
