Best authentic Italian food and wonderful service! I would highly recommend!

We celebrated our anniversary at Willows and had a wonderful experience, from the time that we were greeted by the host to the time we left the restaurant. We were offered seating in the patio, which was the perfect temperature even though it was a chilly night, thanks to the heaters they utilize. The fire pits they have contributed to the romantic atmosphere of the night. Our server Jane went above and beyond with the service she provided us all night, she suggested foods and drinks based on our preferences and checked in on us several times to assure we were doing well. Overall our night was made extra special with the service we were provided that night! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for amazing food and service!

Everything about this restaurant was top notch. One of the most impressive aspects of the experience was how a number of times we were asked about the quality of our food/ experience and how the staff there worked as a coordinated professional team. A restaurant staff obviously working as a team is rare to see. We were lucky enough to have met the owner-Tina, and from our conversation she appears to have a leadership style which is respectful and encourages excellence. Many of these staff will do well in the future.

Visiting Solvang for the first time, my family and I went twice to this restaurant! I really enjoyed the two meals I had - Fish of the day (I chose the Halibut), and it came with such yummy potatoes! I also had the Chicken parmesan, the right amount of seasoning and cheese, and it was very soft! Also the (non-alcoholic) cucumber sparkling drink! Oh! And that tiramisu was one of the best ones I've tried so far! The bartender, waiters, host, cooks, busser, and every staff member were so nice! And they even recognized us coming back. We stoped in on a mini holiday vacation our experience at The Hitching Post was amazing. Our waitress Jennifer went above and beyond, handling our dietary needs with ease and attention to detail. Her cheerful personality in what was an extremely busy evening, the ambiance of the restaurant and AMAZING FOOD made for an extremely enjoyable Pre Christmas Eve dinner for us all. We can’t thank Jennifer enough, and are still talking about what a great night we had over all.
