On May 13, 1931, Giuseppe Cipriani opened Harry's Bar in Venice. Over the years, Harry's Bar has become the place where writers, painters, artists, aristocrats, kings, and queens would meet. Among them were: Barbara Hutton, Katherine Hepburn, Gary Cooper, Giancarlo Menotti, Peggy Guggenheim, Orson Welles, Frank Lloyd Wright, Joe DiMaggio, Truman Capote, and Ernest Hemingway. The keys to the success of this small bar were: service, freedom, and lack of imposition.Throughout its 93-year history, Harry's Bar has witnessed the 20th century in Venice. Its importance was also recognized by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage, which declared it a national reference point in 2001. Vue splendide ambiance parfaite et service au top ! Nous savions que le prix du repas serait à la hauteur de la vue Mais c est abuser et pas justifié facturer une feuille de salade verte hors menu 19 euros par personne À part cela tout était parfait

Très bel endroit situé dans une cour calme et agréable. Les plats sont délicieux et le service impeccable et prévenant. Nous y avons passé un excellent moment.

Cadre extraordinaire au bord du Grand Canal. Personnel gentil, attentionné et pas trop présent. Nourriture plutôt médiocre étant donné le standard de l’hôtel. Le buffet de petit-déjeuner ainsi que les plats commandés à la carte n’étaient pas à la hauteur attendue. Mais nous reviendrons, l’expérience reste magique.
