Best Restaurants for Groups in Charlotte

Visiting Charlotte and staying in uptown area. We visited here on a Sunday evening. No idea about parking, we walked. Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. Service was professional, attentive but not intrusive. They weren't packed when we walked in but it got that way and they handled it well. The food, though. Oh my. I had the baby gem salad and the roquefort dressing was delicious. I had the roasted tenderloin and added a side of Carolina gold rice. My companion had the grilled shrimp and said the shrimp were excellent. He added the blue sweet potato side dish with balsamic and cashews. Unusual but a delight. He shared a bite with me and it was so good. Wines are interesting. We had some great ones.

We did Sunday Brunch before a Panther’s game. Very nice selection of drinks, mocktails, and brunch items. I got the Lomo Saltido (SP?). Added the egg for $2 more. So much flavor and a slow heat build up as I ate. My wife got the avocado toast. The poached egg great and the balsamic drizzle on toast was a fantastic addition. My daughter got the pancakes. Wow. So fluffy and the black berries and blue berries were so good.

Excellent Food! Great location to meet and dine pre-game! Served was training and mixed up a few things but no complaints here!!

Our server was Halit. I always get the pleasure of him being in our server most of the time when I come in and he is always exceptional. He makes sure that you’re getting everything you need and he does not hover. He tends to show up just at the right time when you need him. He makes great suggestions and he makes dining at Angeline’s a wonderful experience. Thanks Halit!

Visiting from Miami Beach for a few days this was our first meal in town. Convenient location right across the bechtler museum of modern art, we had lunch on monday afternoon. My mom had fish special which was mahi mahi with carolina rice, small portion about 4 or 5 oz or fish 5/5. I had a crab cake sandwich, big cake in between bigger bans 4/5. Restaurant was quite. Service was simple. Thanks!!!
