The late Rocco Diorio was responsible for the fine traditional food and many lasting memories for most of the people in the greater Waterbury area. The restaurant was closed in 1980 and reopened in 1991 after total restoration to its original splendor. The legend continues as we remain true to those endearing memories. We have the original marble bar, over-sized mahogany bankers booths, tin ceiling, and the most impressive acid-etched mirrors displaying historical Waterbury. Diorio Restaurant has once again reclaimed its reputation as Waterbury's finest.

We are The Local Sixty-Three! Our family-owned restaurant is focused on sustainable, seasonal, and local ingredients - dedicated to sourcing from nearby breweries, distilleries, farms, and mongers.Our atmosphere is relaxing, and our staff will not fail to charm you. Most of our employees have been with us since we opened, and they absolutely make this place what it is today. We enjoy food and hospitality, and it shows.We are, as much as possible, a scratch kitchen, including making our own soups, sauces, dressings, mayos, syrups, pickles, and our killer Japanese Milk Bread.     Outstanding Service, lovely food and charming atmosphere. Burgers, truffle fries, Desert Board and Gingerbread Chai Latte were very tasty. We were seated outside under heaters which was perfect thanks to good weather. They offered Seasonal Cocktails and they were passing hors d'oeuvres while we were waiting to be seated. This cafe is situated in Terrain and it was so beautifully decorated for Christmas including a snow machine. This was my 2nd visit and Restaurant staff are excellent.

    We dined at Tuscany to celebrate a birthday. As soon as we walked in, the service was excellent and continued throughout our dinner. Our waiter was attentive and made sure every one of our needs was met. The food was delicious and came in generous portions. Five stars all the way!!

    What a find! First time here ..found searching internet everything was perfect from ambiance to food to outstanding service from long time waitress Lisa. Had the Kansas Strip on recommendation from Lisa. Partner had filet mignon Sides of cream corn to die for Back potato and fixings’ perfect Took advantage of Monday special 25% bottle of Silver Oak..(if under $100 get 50% off!) Everyone is professional as can be from Lisa our server to food runner to buser.. We will be back ..delightful
