Mimi’s Bakehouse is a second-generation family business established in Edinburgh in 2010, when Michelle Phillips sold her family home to open a bakery café in Leith. We have gone on to build a local success story brand that gives people a ‘hug when they walk in the door’ as the original café has since doubled in size and the business has gained five more shops, a successful website selling cakes online and a concession at Archerfield Walled Garden. We also opened an industrial bakery in March 2020, out of which most online trade is produced for fulfilment. Busy and bustling on Christmas Eve. Great service from bar and restaurant. The food and cocktails were Lovely. Wine was good but the selection seems to have been paired down from previous visit to focus on higher end bottles.

A fun festive afternoon tea out with two friends! The menu was amazing and one of the best afternoon teas! You had the choice of fruit scones, orange and chocolate scones, chocolate logs, coconut truffles, christmas themed brownies to cheese croquettes, pigs in blankets, tasty chicken and mushroom pies! Oh and you also got a wee gingerbread guy to decorate! A very enjoyable experience! Me and my friends would definitely visit again!
