- MMikeChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThis year our little family opted to forego the usual Thanksgiving traditions and decided to go out for a nice dinner. Wildfire was open and had reasonable accommodations and the prefixe menu looked great. We arrived early and were notified we’d be sat at our reservation time, which wasn’t too long after. Though the restaurant was filled, it wasn’t too loud and overall, it seemed everyone was happy. After being seated, we were treated to some breads and appetizers. Gabriel was our server and was fantastic. He was patient, friendly, receptive to needs, and timely. Give that young man a raise! Our meal was quite tasty! Reasonable accommodations were made. My only critique, do a separate pricing for kids under 5. We have a one year old, and they don’t eat that much on a good day, usually just sharing off our plates, but others than that, they ate pretty much everything put in front of them. We ended up taking our dessert home (equally as tasty. That Maple Pecan Pie was the bomb!). A great experience all around with none of the usual Thanksgiving hassle.More infoWildfire - SchaumburgPrice: Moderate• American• Schaumburg•4.7
- RRonnaChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe went for the Thanksgiving buffet and it was a lovely afternoon. The servers were quick with anything we needed and were always friendly. They were also helpful - my husband asked for Turkish coffee and the server responded that black coffee was included but there would be an extra charge for Turkish. Totally reasonable and I appreciated not getting a surprise added charge later. The food was solid, especially the cold apps/salads, cig kofte, lentil soup, bread basket, and the two meats made from ground meat. It's tough to prepare food for such a large group, so not surprising that the chicken kebabs were drier than I'd like. I was sad not to see any lamachun available, as it was listed. But that's okay as that's also something that's better when it's piping hot. At no point did anyone indicate that they needed our table, which can be a concern both at buffets and on holidays. We were able to relax between courses and enjoy the holiday as a family. I'd happily return!More infoA Thousand TalesPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Mount Prospect•4.5
- CCherieChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoFresh hot meats are never ending not to mention the fabulous Salad bar and hot sides! Very scrumptious but a bit pricey, a table with 4 adults having only 1 cocktail each brings a tab of $350 ( without tip) It’s a nice treat for sure.More infoTexas de Brazil - SchaumburgPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Schaumburg•4.5
