- DDonVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •8 reviews5.0Dined todayWhen we walked in we were impressed with the open and light modern decor. It felt clean and inviting. The bar is quite impressive and takes the spotlight at the center of the restaurant. We also loved the cozy nooks for more private meals and noticed several larger tables for large parties. The food was very tasty and well-prepared. It was on par with the other fine dining restaurants nearby. There was a lovely outdoor patio that was set up for dining in warmer weather. All in all this is a great place and I will certainly return.More infoBrixPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Yountville•4.4
- JJamesVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoBistro Jeanty never disappoints. It is always the first stop for a late lunch after the drive into Yountville and is always a great welcome to the valley. Food quality and service is always excellent. My wife and I brought our 21 year old children for the first time and they loved it. Escargot, duck liver pate, steak frites, cassoulet, and frisée salad were perfect as usual. Thank you Bistro Jeanty for continuing your exceptional commitment to quality.More infoBistro JeantyPrice: Expensive• French• Yountville•4.8
- MMichaelSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoEverything was wonderful (as usual) except our server. He wasn't pleasant or friendly. Previous servers knew we were there for our anniversary, said Congratulations, asked how long we've been together, took a picture of us etc. He had no interest in anything except getting our drink and entree order. Not a nice fellow or interested in making us feel welcome. Example; there was no napkin at my place setting and I politely asked for one. He walked by, put one on the table and said "here ya go" and kept moving. I said "thank you" but all I saw was the back of his head moving away. A good server would have offered an apology for the oversight, immediately corrected the mistake and said to the customer thanks for your patience and understanding (or something to that effect). He made me feel like I was bothering him. Contrary to our disengaged waiter there was a busser guy who was awesome! He was open and friendly, joyful, and accommodating. He liked his job and wanted to be helpful. Our actual server, not so much. My wife and I openly wished the busser was our server. If I knew the busser's name, I'd say promote him. The only time our waiter was even remotely kind was when he put the bill on the table. So, when it's time for the tip, guess what? He was very nice! Wow, imagine that...More infoHouse of Prime RibPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.8
